Blue Chalcedony is a member of the Quartz family and unusually by nature has a translucent or opaque, waxy, dull appearance. It is particularly beautiful and many are attracted to it for its gentle energy. Some pieces contain a small amount of Opal and in fact are often mistaken for low grade Opal. It is the nurturing crystal for self-love, mothering and healing the inner child. Hold the crystal close to the heart and affirm the intention to love thyself and others as equals.
